Our RoadMap To Renaissance: W.E. Bookstore & Publisher

A merging of two of indie companies to better serve readers and writers!

W.E. Bookstore Online started as a part of Winn Publications in 2018 and in 2020 became it’s own entity. As of July 1, 2022, I have brought them back together! I am passionate about leading a business that is fluid in the book publishing industry. We show up by offering a full spectrum of services that independent authors need and desire.  We also show up for our readers everywhere!

Fun fact: did you know that W.E. Bookstore is named after my dad’s dad? Yup! I love my family so much (hence Winn Publications) and in honor of my ancestors, I have named my book businesses after them.

Allow Me to Re-Introduce Ourselves

W.E. Bookstore Online has been in business for almost 3 years now and we couldn't be more excited to add some new features as well as bring back our traditions.

1.  Bookshop & Publisher

For almost 5 years, Winn Publications has been in business and at one point W.E. Bookstore was a part of it. In 2020, I separated the two businesses and now here I am bringing them back together for good!

2. The Sunshine Handmade Market

A market I curated all over Southern California in 2021 under W.E. Bookstore Online. I was able to successfully pull off 5 markets, serving over 30 other small businesses, selling books, serving food, listening to live music and holding storytime for kids and having a good time. I look forward to bring this feature to Abilene, Texas and ultimately all over the State of Texas.

3. Sunshine Art & Literature

My daughter is an amazing artist and a lover of books. She’s been begging me to tap her in and let her shine in my business. Now is the time. She asked if we could share her art and other children’s art and create spaces for them to paint and read. How could I say no? We’re calling this feature SAL. More details to come…

Become a part of our community

Volunteer For Publishing

One thing that I have learned along my journey is that you can’t go far alone. Therefore, I am looking for temporary volunteers who will be gifted with a hybrid-publishing agreement and possible opportunity to work permanently with W.E. Bookstore & Publisher.

We're looking for books published by indie authors

Waiving our consignment fee ($25 a title) up until our storefront is open, indie authors are encouraged to send us 5 copies of each other titles. They are encouraged to donate 5 copies as well as consider adding a link to their book for a $50 fee. We also have other author services as we cater to serving indie authors!

Join the email list

We’ll keep you up to date on news as it breaks. We anticipate a storefront in the next 4 months and find it important to let our community know what we’re up to and how they can help spread the word. Yes! We’re hoping you spread the word as this is a major win-win!

This past February I had a failed Kickstarter campaign. Therefore this time I will be using my own platform to collect donations from those who are able and willing.

I will let you know when and where to send your donations and how W.E. intend to say thank you. Join the email list to stay up-to date.

Books On Hand Now

I’ve been able to publish 40 titles in the last 4 years, and shelf 35 titles in the last 2 years. I’d consider these indie authors, founding members as they’ve been on this journey with me the longest. They’ve endured my ups and downs and have been loyal. I owe them this opportunity. They too will see their books going from online only to being offered in our storefront.
